First update is that the page itself is up. I'll have to pull the old ROMhacking.net thread out of mothballs. Realistically, it's unlikely anyone is going to notice any of this any time soon, but I'll be quietly tinkering away until someone does. A special thanks to that guy who sent me an email asking about the status of the project. You know who you are. If you see this, my heart goes out to you!

An unexpected snag: When trying to get into my old Romhacking.net account to update the status of the project, I discovered my account email belonged to a domain that was no longer active, plus10tofireresist.com. Which is to say that I'd known the domain was inactive, but had forgotten my account was tied to it. As it is, I can't receive an email to change my password. And "inactive" here means "it expired, someone bought it, and they're not doing anything with it." It's not going for thousands, and I could raise money to buy it back, but that's a long way off. In the meantime, I'll have to find somewhere else to make noise about this.

I haven't received any emails from anyone, and I'm not that optimistic about getting them, since this isn't a well-known project. This leaves me with a lot of time on my hands, which is making me reconsider waiting until the project is done to revise and release the tools I'm using for it. I could just move the revised code to another repo to avoid breaking anything.

I'm still on the fence,
but if anyone asks me to, I'll do it.
